Also, re: defecating into hands, there's totally no loo paper here, and the only option is to use spray things to wash yourself afterwards. Considering how hot and humid it is here, the last thing I want to do is spray my nether regions with warm water when they already feel rather hot and sweaty, thankyouverymuch. People totally haven't thought this through.

Sadly the hat has already been lost! But there's going to be photo evidence as soon as I can upload some pictures somewhere.
