More trains

I absolutely adore travelling in any way, shape or form, though I spend most of my time these days travelling by train or tube. I love the different people you get to watch, and the shiny views outside as you whiz through the countryside. I love the little places in the middle of nowhere that you sometimes stop at which will never be more than a name and a two-platform station to you.

I love that when you look out of the window, you don't only see what's out of the window. You also get to see what's reflected there from the inside, whether it's just you, or you and the people behind you and what's out of their windows too. One of my favourite points is zipping past other trains. If you're lucky and you catch a shiny one, you get to see the inside of your train and the views through the window behind you in your window's reflection, the outside of your train in the reflection of the other, inside the other train, and also outside through the other train's windows. I was going to take a photo, but I missed. Then I was going to draw a picture, but it broke my head. It's like this, but better, and with more.

Despite not being a real Brit, I still occasionally moan about the summers in the UK as if I were one. They always seem to swing wildly between not-very-summery-at-all and ridiculous I-think-I-might-melt-now weather. If you ever hear me moaning like this, stop me. Because this time of year means we get to see lovely scenes like this...

...even if the yellow rape makes me snigger.
